Le Marché du Plateau is a vibrant, human place where people come to eat, discover, meet others, and simply feel good

Every week, you’ll find beautiful fresh vegetables grown locally, harvested nearby by passionate producers. Depending on the season, the stalls overflow with color — crisp carrots, flavorful tomatoes, a variety of lettuces, fresh herbs, berries… a true delight for anyone who loves cooking local.

You’ll also find locally raised meats, including lamb — perfect for simple, tasty, and responsible meals.

And if you’re feeling a little hungry, our lunchtime food offerings are worth the stop: generous, comforting dishes prepared on-site, perfect for enjoying a sunny lunch. We’ve even set up spaces where you can sit, take a break, chat, and enjoy the moment.

Artisans add their creative touch to the market with beautiful finds to discover.

This year, the Association des auteurs et auteures de l’Outaouais will host a literary space where you can discover the very best of the region’s writers. You’ll even be able to enjoy short readings of novel excerpts throughout the season.

Music ties it all together, creating a lively, warm atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer.

Buying from local vendors means embracing a way of life that directly supports our economy, our culture, and our everyday well‑being.

Quebec’s public markets are true drivers of local development. They form a vibrant network, deeply rooted in our communities, and embody an economy centered on collective well‑being.

They build bridges between generations, cultures, and between urban and rural life. They give a human face to our food systems, our economy, and our culture.
